Anyone attracted to modernist architecture will enjoy the work of Paul Davies, who layers stencilled backgrounds in lime greens, aqua, pinks and oranges to highlight mid-century buildings set against big, black, starry skies.

Davies says Peter Doig and David Hockney are among his inspirations. Stars over Nest and Fence is pictured.
