Tango Conway currently lives and works on Gadigal land. Her work explores the nature of representation and how processes of artmaking can embody the perceptual experience. Currently, she teaches observational drawing at the National Art School and her practice is firmly based in life drawing. Conway’s practice expands on traditional drawing techniques in order to explore the embedded theatricality and absurdity of staged life and the everyday.
