Olsen Irwin currently is showing an exhibition of works by? Gwyn Hanssen Pigott.
Largely sourced from one private collection in USA, the work in the exhibition spans over 30 years, from Gwyn?s early years in London and France, through to her residencies at the Jam Factory in Adelaide, and the Kelvin Grove campus of QUT in Brisbane, and finishing with two still lives from the early 21th century. It shows Gwyn?s dedication to the functional pot, and her relentless pursuit of simplicity and beauty. There are also a few works by her English mentors, Bernard Leach, Lucie Rie and Michael Cardew, as well as a few porcelain works by Edmund de Waal. The Exhibition runs until the 15th of? November, 2015
