Feature artist
Jennifer Rosnell is an Australian born artist living and working in Collaroy on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. She has a Bachelor Of Fine Arts from COFA University of NSW with a focus on the figure and anatomy. A professional background in graphic design and teaching drawing, she is a four time finalist with the National Portia Geach Portrait Prize. Jennifer is a finalist in prizes such as the National Emerging Art Prize (Amber Creswell Bell Selects), The Percivals Portrait Prize, The Hornsby Art Prize and Winner of the Peoples Choice Award at the Mosman Art Prize 2022.
Her oil painting practice has evolved from a passion for life drawing and her love of coastal themes such as ferries, fish and sunbathers. Inspiration for her subject matter is the beautiful Australian Coastline with a special focus on the local beaches and waterways of Sydney.
