Julie Corbet is an Australian artist celebrated for her fluid abstract paintings that explore the emotional depth of movement, colour and form. Her works invite a contemplative, almost meditative connection, as they capture the expressive and atmospheric qualities of life itself. Corbet's process, which is oil on board, is inspired by nature, everyday experiences, and her extensive travels.

Originally from Melbourne, Corbet studied Fine Art in Lismore and now resides in Byron Bay, where the natural beauty of the northern beaches influences her creative vision. Her career spans roles in the advertising and fashion industries across Melbourne, Sydney, and Los Angeles as well as several years living in India, where she deepened her love for Eastern philosophy.

Since 2009, Corbet has exhibited in the Northern Rivers region and received recognition in local art prizes. In 2024, she was commissioned to create 64 original paintings for Basq House, a boutique hotel in Byron Bay. Her work continues to captivate audiences with its vibrant emotional depth and meditative presence.
