Born in
Taiwan, Yeats is interested in creative activities such as writing,
fashion design, drawing, fibre arts and ceramics. She had resided in
Taiwan, USA and Spain and now lives in Australia where she established
her career in Education and ceramics. As a professional ceramic artist,
her love for sculptural art in 3 dimensional form took over and has
since been consistently working in her spacious studio located in rain
forest country. Yeats regularly exhibits in Australian Galleries.

As a
person long removed from her original roots, Yeats is interested in
producing works incorporating her cultural background and engages with
contemporary forms of artistic expression using texture, colour, form
and a dialogue based on a personal concept or pursued theme. 

For the past few years, Yeats has worked on the project "Female Odyssey". Fascinated
by human emotions and female forms, she combines painting, drawing and
sculptural aspects in these series of works to express her long pursuit
of the relationships of human intimacy. She is trying to grasp the power
and energy flowing in the precious moments between humans and their
connections which may engender some memories in the viewers' minds. Like
writing a lyrical ode, Yeats fuses these forms, colours and lines thus
elaborating  beauty, story and creation of an untold dialogue. Attracted
by its purity she mainly constructs her sculpture in fine porcelain.
Her work engenders a luminous quality of elegance and perfection.
