Chris Langlois, Caroline Rannersberger and Paul Ryan | Sublime Point: The Landscape in Painting

Work by Chris Langlois, Caroline Rannersberger and Paul Ryan will be included in an exhibition at Hazelhurst Regional Gallery & Arts Centre. Sublime Point: The Landscape in Painting, brings together 25 leading Australian painters in an investigation of landscape painting. "For some of the artists, the subject of landscape originates from a cultural and spiritual attachment to place or an urban sensibility to a changing environment. While for others, the landscape provides a vehicle for the exploration of self, responses to the historical aspect of landscape and a relationship with nature." - Hazelhurst Regional Gallery & Arts Centre Sublime Point: The Landscape in Painting 11 October - 30 November 2014 Hazelhurst Regional Gallery & Arts Centre, 782 Kingsway Gymea, NSW [caption id="attachment_3372" align="aligncenter" width="650"]Rannersberger#12307 Caroline Rannersberger, Sunset Bay Towards Hartz, 2013, oil on belgian linen, 3 x 202 x 71cm[/caption] [caption id="attachment_3374" align="aligncenter" width="650"]Langlois#14014 Chris Langlois, Weather System (Tasman Sea) no.9, 2014, oil on linen, 137 x 122cm[/caption] [caption id="attachment_3383" align="aligncenter" width="650"]FullSizeRender Paul Ryan, Sublime North Sublime South, 2014, oil on linen, 72 x 122cm[/caption]
