Congratulations to Chris Langlois for selection as a finalist in The Gold Award at Rockhampton Art Gallery, one of Australia?s richest contemporary painting prizes.

"The Gold Award is a national invitation painting award with an acquisitive cash prize of $50,000 made possible through a generous bequest from the Estate of Moya Gold." - Rockhampton Art Gallery The biennial event invites just 8 of Australia's most highly recognised artists to partake as finalists for the award. The winner will be announced on 4 July 2014.?Glenn Barkley, former senior curator at Museum of Contemporary Art, Australia will determine the winning entry.
