In Conversation: John Young and Anna Johnson | Sydney Contemporary


DATE: Saturday?14 September 3PM ? 3.30PM LOCATION:?Booth D01 ? OLSEN Gallery, Sydney Contemporary, Carriageworks Join Melbourne-based artist John Young in conversation with writer Anna Johnson. Johnson will investigate Young?s most recent body of work the dynamic ?Spectrumfigures?, also referred to as Human-Computer Friendship paintings in a deliberate play on their uneasy relationship. Anna will also discuss John?s continued investigation of Western late modernism from a transcultural viewpoint, with particular focus of the regional development of the Asia Pacific region.
