Marie Hagerty has donated a work to go under the hammer at the 31st CAPO Art Auction. The Capital Arts Patrons' Organisation is a volunteer based, non-profit association that has supported the ACT region's artists since its establishment in 1983. Along with Marie's 'Cross Eyed,' for sale at the auction will be artworks by Canberra's well established and promising emerging artists. The auction will be opened by Paul Mcdermott, CAPO Patron. Marie has also been selected as a finalist in the Paul Guest Prize for 2014 with her piece 'Thin Ice.' The Paul Guest Prize is held every two years. With a focus on contemporary drawing practice in Australia, first place will receive a cash prize of $12,000.
