New artists represented

The Directors of Olsen Irwin are please to announce the representation of three new artists to the Olsen Irwin stable. The Estate of Robert Klippel

Robert Klippel 8C 1 31 1974-1982, painted wood, 28.8 x 4.6 x 10.7

Regarded as Australia?s leading sculptor, Robert Klippel consistently developed a distinct personal language of sculptural forms over his long career. Approaching the surface of each work as a logical expression of its interior structure and processes, his ambition was to make sculpture inspired by a poetic synthesis between the twin energies ? organic and mechanical ? that he saw as defining life and culture in the 20th century. Peter Gardiner Burn 2016 oil on canvas,? 150 x 120cm, $12,000

I lean into the landscape, between light and dark...interior and exterior. Sometimes it's so vast it feels like I'm floating in it. I look back to make sense of what I see in front of me. It's my language and I'm making it up every day. To view works available by Peter Gardiner click here
