Tamara Dean's work 'The River' has been highly commended at yesterdays prize giving ceremony for the? 2013 Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize. As highly commended Dean has been awarded prize money of $10,000. A very big congratulations to Tamara from all at Olsen Irwin! The Moran Arts Foundation was established by Doug and Greta Moran as a philanthropic, not-for-profit organisation whose?objective is to support the Arts?in?Australia. Since it?s inception in 1988, the Moran Prizes have been considered one of Australia?s most prestigious awards. With the purchase of the historic Juniper Hall from The National Trust of Australia in 2012, The Moran Arts Foundation has found a permanent home. Built in 1824, Juniper Hall is an example of Georgian architecture and is one of the oldest houses in Sydney.
